The problem
Recommendation systems normally infer taste from history. This one asks a different question: what does the reader feel right now, and what should they read because of it?
The approach

Used OpenCV for real-time facial expression detection through a webcam.

Mapped detected emotional state onto a book catalogue to produce recommendations.

Backed the catalogue and matching with PHP and MySQL.
The outcome
